Whether it's a slow leak that's been eating your subfloor for weeks or a flooded basement at 2am, our Norwich crews are already moving. Our Norwich-based teams arrive with truck-mount extractors, moisture meters, and drying gear staged and ready to go.
Too many Norwich, CT families have called a big national number only to get bounced through hold music before a random subcontractor shows up hours later, so Hirex Water Damage built its Norwich operation differently. Every technician on our Norwich roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Each lead tech holds an IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and has personally handled clean-water, gray-water, and contaminated black-water losses, so Flood Damage Cleanup in Norwich isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. Full liability coverage and Norwich, CT licensing back every job we take, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Because our equipment lives in a Norwich, CT warehouse rather than out of state, we're not waiting on a supply run before we can start extraction.
Ask any Norwich property manager who has dealt with a burst supply line at 3am — the difference between a crew that shows up ready and one still loading a truck at the shop is measured in gallons of water soaking into your subfloor. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Norwich call at a time.
Not every leak announces itself with a flooded floor. A lot of the worst damage we see in Norwich started small and got ignored for weeks. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
Recognizing one of these signs early is the difference between a contained repair and a gutted room, so call our Norwich team and get a straight answer on how urgent it is.
Whether it's one bedroom carpet or an entire flooded commercial floor, our Norwich crews scale the response to match the loss — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
Our Norwich units run truck-mount extraction pumps that pull thousands of gallons per hour, cutting standing-water time from days to hours. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We place industrial dehumidifiers and air movers based on actual psychrometric calculations, not a standard equipment count per room, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For Norwich homeowners, that means drywall removal at the flood cut line, subfloor assessment, and content pack-out for anything that can be saved, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
For commercial Norwich accounts, we assign a project lead, run crews after normal hours to reduce downtime, and bring equipment sized to the actual footprint — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
When a Norwich job involves sewage backup, our team suits up in full PPE, applies EPA-registered antimicrobials, and safely disposes of porous materials that can't be saved.
We apply antimicrobial treatment during every Norwich drying job specifically to head off mold before it starts, and we'll flag any area that needs deeper remediation.
Every Norwich estimate is written and explained before work begins — no vague "we'll see how it goes" pricing.
Local staging inside Norwich, CT means Norwich response times usually beat the national average by a wide margin.
Our paperwork is built to match what adjusters expect, and we'll speak with your insurer directly on your behalf.
If moisture readings aren't where they should be at the end of the job, we come back and keep drying at no extra charge.
A short call with our Norwich dispatcher tells us whether this is a one-room job or a multi-crew response before anyone drives out.
A licensed technician heads to your Norwich address with extraction and drying equipment already loaded.
We remove standing water first, then map moisture and position air movers and dehumidifiers based on the readings.
We don't close the file until the numbers confirm the structure is dry, and you leave with full photo and moisture documentation.
Every Norwich job gets closed based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say it's finished. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
We put that guarantee directly on the Norwich work order, not just in an ad. If a second visit is ever needed, it comes from the same crew that handled the original job whenever scheduling allows, since they already know the property and the readings we started from.
